examples – our new direction

I attended a conference called “Faith at Home” a couple of weeks ago. It covered topics regarding how, as a parent, you can continue to impart your faith into your children and incorporate God’s Word into everyday activities at home. It was a great conference and I left feeling inspired to increase my level of investment into my small children (three years old and one years old).
Anyway, the conference also made me reconsider the mission of Examples. Yes, Examples still desires to offer tools, information, and resources to teens in order to help them to live an uncompromised life in God’s Word, but our focus has changed just slightly. During the conference, I learned that the three people that have the greatest spirtual influence in the life of teenagers were their:
1. Mother
2. Father
3. Pastor
Youth Group was like #8 and Youth Pastor was even further down than that! So, Examples wants to now focus on providing the resources and tools needed to help support Parents, Churches, and teens that allow young adults to live succesful lives committed to God.
