With over 15 years of ministry, Eddie and Deanna Mason have developed a heart and desire to see people triumphantly living the Word of God; a life without compromise to the world’s way of doing and thinking, but a life totally fulfilled by living according to God’s Word. Through personal experiences, transparent examples, humor, and a whole lot of fun, Eddie and Deanna teach and present the Word of God in a manner that reaches youth from all backgrounds.

Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Eddie Mason, III attended Clark Atlanta University. It was there that he was first introduced to God’s Word and was led to salvation by a fellow classmate.

Ever since this life changing decision, Eddie has been in pursuit of God, desiring to be the best he can be for him. After receiving a BS in Mathematics, Eddie moved on to a career in information technology, which is one of his strongest gifts and passions.

Deanna began her ministry work as a college student. She traveled and ministered with Alpha and Omega Step Team, which was a step ministry focused on evangelism and sharing God’s Word with high school and college age youth. During this time, she also worked as the Drama Coordinator for Exodus Youth Ministry (World Changers Church International) in Atlanta, GA. After graduating from Georgia State University with a BA in Marketing, Deanna accepted an invitation to work for Exodus Youth Ministry, which began her career in full time ministry.

In August, 2001, Eddie and Deanna were married, and just one year later felt called to relocate to Jacksonville, FL to assist in founding THE CHURCH of Jacksonville, the first local church established for THE CHURCH Group Worldwide, where Michael and Connie Smith are pastors. Both Eddie and Deanna worked and served in many ministry roles with THE CHURCH Group. They filled roles such as: Intercessory Prayer Director, Marketing and Sales Assistant Director, Office Management Director, IT Supervisor, Children’s Ministry Teacher and Curriculum Writer, Creative Arts Director, Minister, and a host of other support positions. In January 2008, Eddie and Deanna relocated to the Chicago area and began Examples Ministries. They continue to stay connected with THE CHURCH Group Worldwide via I-CHURCH, an online church congregation pastored by Michael and Connie Smith who are their personal and ministerial covering.  They are members of Christian Life Center in Tinley Park, IL, where they both worship and serve.

Examples has been deep in Deanna’s heart since her college days and both Eddie and Deanna cannot be more excited to now be released to freely follow after what they believe is God’s heart regarding teens; to pour out the love and Word of God into this suffering and literally dying generation of youth.

Eddie and Deanna reside in Richton Park, IL with their two children Eddie “Quad,” IV and Kendall Maya.
